The Faculty of Medicine has been part of the University of Tirana since its establishment in 1957, as one of its six faculties. Currently, since 2013, the Faculty of Medicine is part of the University of Medicine, Tirana, representing one of the most important academic institutions in the field of higher health education in Albania. With a significant contribution to the professional training of doctors, pharmacists, and public health professionals, the Faculty has played an important role in the national healthcare system.
