Project titled “Enhancement of the Molecular Biology Laboratory Infrastructure in the Clinical Genetics Laboratory Service through the Application of Advanced Genomic Techniques (Next Generation Sequencing)”, led by Prof. Dr. Anila Laku (Babameto).
The purpose of this project is to create infrastructure for the application of contemporary techniques to conduct scientific research in the field of Molecular Biology (MB). By investing in new equipment and technologies, we create the opportunity for molecular diagnosis of high-prevalence diseases, such as neuromuscular diseases, as well as the application of advanced molecular techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of malignant hemopathies and solid tumors.
Improvements in infrastructure can lead to more detailed and reliable results, as advanced molecular equipment and methods provide a higher level of accuracy and sensitivity.
