Today, on June 12, 2025, at the University of Medicine, Tirana, an open lecture was held on the topic “Financing of Health Services,” delivered by Ms. Eva Sarec, expert of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Health Financing
The Rector of the University of Medicine, Tirana, Prof. Dr. Xheladin Draçini, in his welcoming speech, emphasized the importance of this lecture, underlining that through education, collaboration, and the exchange of experiences, we can build a more equitable, sustainable, and accessible healthcare system for all.
During the lecture, Ms. Sarec shared international experiences and WHO-recommended practices on health financing methods, explaining their impact on the quality and accessibility of healthcare.
