Interactive webinars aiming to accelerate digital innovation for health (Ref. No. 305.3763-20)

The COVID-19 pandemic presents numerous challenges for healthcare systems worldwide. The difficulties faced by healthcare professionals, professors, and students in developing teaching, scientific research, training activities, experience exchange, and consultations between professionals remotely, using the methods adopted in the field of medicine, require solutions.

The project, within the framework of the Central Europe Initiative between the Emilia-Romagna Region, Italy, represented by Lepida, and Albania, presented by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the University of Medicine, Tirana, aims to accelerate digital innovation in the healthcare system in Albania through interactive webinars.

Lepida ScpA is a company based in Bologna, Emilia-Romagna Region, Italy, and serves as the main operational instrument for the implementation of the Regional Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plan, which defines broadband network strategies, ensures, and optimizes the distribution of ICT services in healthcare to improve the relationship between citizens and the Regional Health Service.

Experts from Lepida will implement webinars planned in Albania from September to December 2020.
