The project titled “ROP, estimation of incidence, risks factors, diagnosis and treatment in time and preventive strategies”, led by Assoc. Prof. Vilma Mema

To research the incidence, severity of RP and help compile a protocol for screening, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients with RP.

To determine the steps that must be followed and the protocols that must be designed for the dynamic follow-up in order to minimize the disability in these patients.

It also facilitates to prepare a well-defined psychosocial and health support strategy for individuals who do not benefit from medical treatment.
