The Scientific Publishing Council at the University of Medicine, Tirana (UMT) is a collegiate body composed of 7 full-time academic staff members holding the title of “Professor.” Its structure includes:
One (1) member from the Faculty of Medicine,
One (1) member from the Faculty of Dental Medicine,
One (1) member from the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences.
The number of members holding the title “Associate Professor” may not exceed 2 (two).
The Publishing Council operates in accordance with its internal regulations, approved by the Academic Senate. It sets the standards to be met by academic and scientific publications at UMT, within the framework of the teaching process and scientific research activities.
