On March 19-20, several institutional meetings were held at the University of Medicine, Tirana with the Italian delegation from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy. These meetings were attended by Ms. Ana Kapaj, Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, who emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in the field of higher education.
The Italian delegation, composed of Mr. Maurizio Barilari, Ms. Giulia Gavazzeni, and Ms. Chiara Marchet, presented the academic structure and the main areas of activity of their institution. The discussions focused on educational programs and opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation.
The Rector, Prof. Dr. Xheladin Draçini, in his speech, presented the academic and scientific programs of the institution, as well as opportunities for expanding international partnerships, developing joint educational programs, and strengthening collaboration in scientific research.
These meetings marked an important step in strengthening academic ties between the two institutions and creating new opportunities for the students and academic staff of the University of Medicine, Tirana.
